I Love Dennis Prager– ‘America Has a Naive President’

April 7, 2009

A quick posting before I head out for my interview trip.

I love Dennis because of his clarity which is really what his daily radio show is all about–clarity. Now,  I would add that our Dear Leader, the Messiah, His Royal Obamaness is imbecilic if he thinks that banning and removing all nuclear weapons from the world will work. Has he never heard the NRA slogan that, ‘If all the guns are banned, then only outlaws will have guns!’?

Does he not understand that this is exactly what will happen if he were to succeed? Does he really believe that those few (double handful) enlightened countries agree to give up the deterrent that has kept the world safe since WWII, that the bad actors (NoKor & Iran) will give up their plans and desires to achieve a nuclear weapon; and if they succeed, then they’ll give them up? To think that, he truly is naive, but I think only an imbecile would give them the opportunity; not to mention the idea that the United Nations will step up as the world’s policeman when the United States steps down as we are right now with Obama’s liberal mindset.

Here’s Dennis’ excellent take:

America Has a Naive President

“The basic bargain is sound: countries with nuclear weapons will move toward disarmament, countries without nuclear weapons will not acquire them.” — President Barack Obama, Prague, April 6, 2009

As far as nuclear weapons are concerned, the President of the United States wants America to disarm: “Countries with nuclear weapons will move toward disarmament.”

It is hard to imagine a more destructive goal. A nuclear disarmed America would lead to massive and widespread killing, more genocide, and very possibly the nuclear holocaust worldwide nuclear disarmament is meant to prevent.

There is nothing moral, let alone realistic, about this goal.

Here is an analogy. (more…)

“Most” Liberals are L.S.O.S.

March 31, 2009

Well, they are, lying sacks of shit, that is. John Hawkins, founder of RightWingNews, calls it like he sees it (the Title above is mine, btw, not his) and evaluates the LEFT with a great eye at seeing through their BS.

His column this morning in Townhall is just such and evaluation.

The Top Seven Techniques Liberals Use to Lie About Conservatives
John Hawkins
Tuesday, March 31, 2009

Liberals spend much of their time trying to hide what they believe from the public while conservatives are perpetually frustrated by the fact that the American people don’t seem to understand what we really believe. Both problems spring from a single source: liberals lie incessantly. That’s not to say that there aren’t conservative liars or truthful liberals; there are, but for liberals, lying is the rule, not the exception.

There are two reasons why liberals lie much more than conservatives. First off, this is a center-right country and liberal beliefs are much more unpopular than conservative ones. If liberals told the truth about what they believe and want to do, the Democratic Party would practically be wiped out in much of the country.

Additionally, conservatives tend to think liberals are merely stupid or emotional, while liberals tend to view conservatives as evil — and liberals use that belief to justify lying about conservatives. After all, if you lie about someone who’s evil to keep them from doing bad things, couldn’t that be considered virtuous? You may disagree with that, but liberal politicians, bloggers, and journalists live by that rule. Any lie told about a conservative, even one that liberals know isn’t true, will be uncritically repeated ad nauseum by the Left until the point it becomes politically disadvantageous to do so.

So, in order to help fight the lies of the Left, here’s a guide to the most prevalent techniques that liberals use to mislead people about conservatives. If you’re listening to liberals talk about conservatives, you’re virtually guaranteed to hear at least one of these techniques used.

I Love Victor Davis Hanson–Bush Did It

March 20, 2009

With tongue placed firmly in cheek, VDH writes a column as if all the things said and done recently by Dear Leader and his regime were written under the continuing  BSD (Bush Derangement Syndrome) of the MSM and the LEFT’s watchdogs.

The point being…how are they covering HRO? Did they forget their jobs? Need I answer?

Bush Did It
What a difference an election makes.

By Victor Davis Hanson

President Bush was ridiculed today by critics of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility when he suggested that his administration no longer was incarcerating “unlawful combatants,” but was instead in the process of renaming them as mere “detainees.” The president also promised to close Guantanamo “within the year,” and added that he had assigned a “special task force” to look into the matter.

“Orwellian,” the New York Times fumed in an editorial entitled “Just Close It!”: “If the President’s Ministry of Truth thinks that his metamorphosing words change reality, then it is going to be a long four years. This latest Doublespeak comes on top of the President’s ignoring his past assertions that ‘signing statements are unacceptable’ and continuing the policy unchanged from the Clinton administration.” TheLos Angeles Times joined in, adding, “Remember that Bush promise about posting pending legislation on his administration’s website before signing it into law? Well, somehow several days’ notice has evaporated into 24 hours, and now zilch.”

Bush likewise ignored criticism that on the Patriot Act, FISA, and extraordinary rendition his current public positions were at odds with those that he ran on during the campaign. The Washington Post noted, “Here we go again with Karl Rove’s daily machinations — it is the same old flip-flopping we saw last summer before the election, when an opportunistic Bush reversed himself on NAFTA, public campaign financing, Iraq, the surge, Iran, offshore oil, nuclear power, coal plants, capital punishment, gun control, and abortion. One would think the dignity of the office might nudge Mr. Bush away from his perpetual campaign trimming. But then we have a President who seems glued to his Teleprompter and the scripted message feeding in from the right-wing attack machine.”

The Bush administration was further embarrassed when it boasted that the fundamentals of the economy were “sound” — although in its prior requests for bailout funds just a few weeks ago, it had ridiculed skeptics who countered that the economy’s fundamentals were, in fact, “strong.” Meanwhile, columnist Frank Rich complained that “In times of economic crisis here we go again with greedy and failed AIG execs — buddies of Bush’s clueless Wall Street–retread treasury secretary — using federal money to pay themselves bonuses for their rampant failure. But what do you expect from revolving-door administration officials in bed with the very corporations they used to work for? Get used to more $100-a-pound beef at the ‘let them eat cake’ White House parties, lorded over by this AIG surrogate who took more than $100,000 in their money for who knows what? Maybe Speaker Hastert can let those GM execs on federal welfare piggy-back on his private jet next time they come to Washington to beg for more of our money. These people have no shame.”

President Bush had warned the (more…)

I Love Mark Steyn, an Update on OSD2

March 6, 2009

Just a little update from my Post Yesterday. It looks like Mark Steyn, whom I love immensely, thinks along the same lines as I do, that HRO is determined to destroy America’s economy in order to bring about his designs on the perfect Euro-topia, the USSA (United Socialist States of America).

NOTE: Look at the tanking of the DOW the last two days after the brief 100+ blip on Wednesday (after 5 consecutive days of going down) as Obama continues to lay out his plans and policies. With every opening of his golden mouth (even though he continues to say that nothing his administration or his words have any effect on the market) it drops again (yesterday after the Health Care plan) and again (early on it was down 109 , but came back up to a whopping +32.50 after his speech in Ohio this morning) AND he hasn’t even gotten to instituting Cap & Trade yet–imagine what that will do to the DOW Industrials since he plans to completely destroy business and companies to fight the Anthropogenic Global Warming Hoax.

From the NRO Corner Blog:

Not a Bug but a Feature   [Mark Steyn]

In The Wall Street Journal, Michael Boskin writes:

Mr. Obama’s $3.6 trillion budget blueprint, by his own admission, redefines the role of government in our economy and society. The budget more than doubles the national debt held by the public, adding more to the debt than all previous presidents — from George Washington to George W. Bush — combined. It reduces defense spending to a level not sustained since the dangerous days before World War II, while increasing nondefense spending (relative to GDP) to the highest level in U.S. history. And it would raise taxes to historically high levels (again, relative to GDP). And all of this before addressing the impending explosion in Social Security and Medicare costs.

What emerges from such a blueprint will not be America. The United States will survive as a geographical designation, a collection of zip codes, but what goes on within them will be a Euro-Canadian form of societal arrangement (I write more on this in the new NR, out today, I do believe).

If you’re David Brooks or Christopher Buckley, you’re baffled at what your sensible moderate bipartisan economic centrist president is doing. If your objective is to “stimulate” the economy, why would you do this stuff?

But, if your objective is fundamentally to transform the relationship between the citizen and the state, it all makes perfect sense. On the radio yesterday, Mark Larson asked me about all this and I replied:

As Rahm Emanuel says, he has essentially to use the crisis as an opportunity. And that’s what it’s about. I think that the plummeting Dow actually serves his purpose… My worry is, though, that when you look at the riots that have been happening in Bulgaria and Greece and Iceland and other places, is that when people turn against the government, it’s usually because they’re banging on the door of parliament saying why don’t you guys do more for me? In other words, they’re saying a $3.7 trillion dollar package isn’t enough, we need a $20 trillion dollar package. So I’m a bit worried that when this public dissatisfaction with Obama starts, a big chunk of it will be from people who are actually demanding even bigger and even more Europeanized solutions to these things.

Obama’s priority is not the restoration of the economy but, as he says, the “remaking of America.” If you take him at his word, his indifference to the Dow makes perfect sense.

Wildebeest Care is the Key to Economic Recovery!

March 6, 2009

Centered by the ever-present bronze-tinted, but opaque teleprompters (whispers among the White House Residential Staff say that before joining Michelle in bed each night, the TPs–as they call them–are arranged on either side of the Presidential bed’s headboard with a script running to the effect, “Yeah, baby! Yeah, Momma; Daddy’s got yo’ back and I cannot lie!” and “The Big O’s a gonna fix it right!”–there has been no video to confirm this, unfortunately, but keep watching to YouTube, you never know) and flanked by his Minister of Propaganda; the Secretary of the Interior, amazingly the only nominee that had paid his taxes, but expects to recoup that money through the Indian Affairs and Casinos Department; and Wildebeest Czar, Jim Folwer, the anaconda-wrestling, geriatric right-hand man, sidekick, schlub and patsy to Marlin Perkins on Wild Kingdom, President (Transparency and No Earmarks) Obama addressed the ever-so-important National Wildlife Reform Forum yesterday.

After introductions and the wait for the teleprompters to warm up, he prefaced (reading from said devices) the need for the forum with, “By a wide margin, the biggest threat to our nation’s balance sheet is the skyrocketing cost of Wildebeest care–it’s not even close.  If we want to create jobs and rebuild our economy, and get our federal budget under control, then we have to address the crushing cost of Wildebeest care this year, in this administration.” And finally, he expressed the direness of emergency, “The cost of Wildebeest care now causes a  bankruptcy in America every thirty seconds.” Gosh, who gnu?

When confronted by a reporter, that Wildebeests are not native to the United States or the Western hemisphere for that matter, and pretty much restricted to the African continent and almost exclusively to the Serengeti, and asked for the research regarding the statistics on bankruptcies caused by Gnu Care, the effervescent and bouncy, Christina Romer of the Council of Economic Czars and Rasputins (doesn’t she remind you of your old Bozo Bop Bag, the punching ballon from your childhood, or a Russian Nested Doll that you want to un-nest to see if she just disappears), she bounced and giggled, “I’m gonna [sic] to have to  check the numbers for you; I think the important thing is the idea is absolutely true.”

So, now we have another (one) expressly derived reason and cause of the Economic Crisis and the KEY to recovery–fix Wildebeest Care!

In reality, he was centered between the ever-present teleprompters, and we’re still awaiting the video evidence regarding the WH Bedroom rumors, and flanked by his minions, but Dear Leader was speaking before the Health Care Forum and indeed The Key to recovery was fixing health care.

“By a wide margin, the biggest threat to our nations balance sheet is the skyrocketing cost of health care; it’s not even close.” Followed by, “If we want to create jobs and rebuild our economy, and get our federal budget under control, then we have to address the crushing cost of health care this year in this administration.” and “The cost of health care now causes a  bankruptcy in America Every thirty seconds.”

Responsibility, Mo’Money & Bigger Government; Yada, Yada, Blah, Blah, Blah

February 25, 2009

Trying. To. Keep. Head. From. Exploding!

I’m watching my tape of Dear Leader’s State of Calamity Speech, Governor Bobby (the futrue hope of the Republican Party???) Jindal’s stilted, boring and ineffectual rebuttal and the forever dissection by the Talking Heads (not the eclectic 70s, 80s,90s band) and vapid politicians from last night.

Holy Crap!

There are many much more qualified political commenters all over the web (click any of the Links in my side panel) than me, so I’m going to disappoint you [sarc] and decline boring you with details from the speech or the continuing empty bullshit from The ONE. I will say this again, Holy Crap. How the hell is any of this going to get paid for? He’s going to quadruple the deficit and double the government as a whole.  The expansions for energy alternatives, education & health care are insane and unrealistic–again, please look to others for the nitty-gritty for those analysiseseses (geez, what is the plural of analysis?).

Here’s what I saw:

Her Majesty, the Queen, Nancy Pelosi portraying one of two things–a jack-in-the-box or a Jr. high School cheerleader.  And if I ever have to spend another hour of my life looking at her Mortimor Snerd (who’s old enough out there to remember that reference? See Below) smirk I will have to kill myself.

Mortimer Snerd by danielhandal.

I also study how the audience claps, from hands flap-slapping together–all vary in enthusiasm and speed from the one clap a second to the wing beat velocity of an African Swallow; and in the same vein of reference (NodNodWinkWink) there are also the cupped-handed coconut clappers; the golf claps to the clapping of one hand to the back of the other as they study the program; the the up/down Gore center-of-the-chest-clap (who teaches that one, where does one learn it? I suspect they all rode the short-yellow-school bus) and the “oh boy, goody, goody happy clap” (Pelosi) the hand straight up as in prayer and clapping as if a cupcake was being held out to her.

I also like when they pan the audience and see the outright boredom of the law-makers until enjoined to jump to theie feet by the aforementioned cheerleader above, but I shouldn’t point fingers, at least I could fast forward–they couldn’t.

Nyah, Nyah, We Told You So!

February 24, 2009

Throughout the Democrat Primaries and Election, we who espoused and ranted (ineffectually, I might add against the lustful Obamatrons and MSM) about who and what Barack Obama was were ridiculed, called racist and didn’t want change because we were neanderthals, mouth breathers, racists (again & again), fascists, and any inordinate amount of other disgusting and obscene descriptions as extensions and continuations of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome), even though he was even running, including then, transference to SDS (Sara [Palin] Derangement Syndrome).

We who paid attention by watching FOXNews; listening to Conservative Talk Radio; read from LittleGreenFootballs, RightWingNews, TownHall, PajamasMedia, HotAir, GatewayPundit, et al; and blogged around the e-niverse knew exactly what we were going to get if BHO was elected–the most leftist and socialist administration in the history of the United States.

So, now, three & a half months from the election after which I, and others much higher in the public domain than I, said we HAD to give Obama a chance (of course we were slammed and ostracized for that from the right) and try to support him so the country didn’t fail, especially since we were told that he was pragmatic and more centrist than he looked on paper. Most of us also qualified that statement and wish with “until he proves different” and then all bets were off and we would shotu from the roof tops. I’m shouting now, is anyone listening? Of course, it’s too late to change things, but hey, I’m yelling my head off again, just as I did before he was elected.

Well, now one month since his Inaugural, HRO has proven we were right and now, we can say, Nyah, Nyah, We Told You SO!  We are already seeing the LEFT’s, Liberals, Socialists and Demon-crats 40 year Wish List passed under the auspices of an Emergency (as Rahm Emanuel stated, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it’s an opportunity to do things you couldn’t do before.”) Under the Banking Crisis we will see the nationalizationof the Financial system and along with the Auto Bailout and the inclusion of the Card Check Law (or the “You’se Gonna Join da Union, arn’cha?” Law) the unlimited expansion of Unions–the UAW runs ads on the Socialist Party USA.

My wife and I almost break our fingers trying to hit the mute button on the remote every time HRO gets live or regurgitated reporting on TV. She told me last night, just as I’m sure most of us have thought frequently, “I am already sick of him (Obama, if you lost track), I can’t stand to hear his voice or see his face.”  We’re all there, but we knew with the MSM and just the fact that he’s President, he was going to have more coverage than anyone else in history. Hopefully, he’ll be just as covered when all of his plans fails and the country falls apart, but I won’t hold my breath.

Here are just two articles that express both of these feelings from myself, others and probably YOU:

“Websites that must be banned!” per the Obamatrons

February 23, 2009

It’s out there. They are still furthering their cause for Dear Leader, the Messiah, The ONE, His Royal Obamaness and aren’t even a little bashful about it. Review: John Zielger’s Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected…

February 23, 2009

For those that don’t know of John Ziegler’s work exposing the LEFT and Media’s absolute powering of His Royal Obamaness’ election, this review will explain all. I have been signed up with John’s updates since his first apperance on FOXNews just days after the election with interviews of O-voters, showing how uninformed or propagandized they were at the polls.

This documentary is a scathing report on how The ONE was foisted upon us by the MSM (Main Stream Media), and as Bernie Goldberg coins it, “A Slobbering Love Affair: The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media” and Sean Hannity calls, “The death of Journalism in 2008”.

Big Hollywood is Andrew Breitbart’s Conservative voice for the minority in Hollywood, the Liberal Bastion of all that’s wrong with America.

Please give the Review a Read and get pissed off once again.

Review: Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted  by John Nolte

Big Hollywood was given an exclusive first look at John Ziegler’s latest documentary covering the media coverage of the 2008 presidential election.

In journalistic terms it’s called a “tick-tock.” This is when the media crafts a news story that takes you behind the scenes of an event and breaks down, piece by linear piece, the individual acts which led up to that event. With “[1] Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted,” director [2] John Ziegler (”[3] Blocking the Path to 9/11“) turns the art of the tick-tock around and aims it, with damning effect, squarely at the news media.  The result is not a documentary, at least not for anyone who believes in truth, fairness or journalistic integrity – the result is a horror film.

If you expect Ziegler to build his case using easy targets like Keith Olbermann [5] aping David Strathairn playing Edward R. Murrow, think again. Olbermann’s a bit player in this cinematic indictment, a clown. The real conspirators run the gamut of every network (cable and otherwise), and most of the major print and online publications. Maybe it’s not a horror story, after all. Maybe it’s something closer to an Agatha Christie mystery where everyone’s the murderer.

The victim, of course, is American journalism. (more…)

“I refuse to allow my enemies to control the way I speak”

February 21, 2009

Kathy Shaidle has taken a stand and I stand with her. We cannot continue to be “cowards”, as our fabulous new and first Black U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, has accused, labeled and is correct in or on any terms any longer . We must stand for our rights of Free Speech and beliefs. Here’s her argument from RWN:

I refuse to allow my enemies to control the way I speak

My enemies are belligerent Muslims — from now on I’m calling them “brown supremicists” — and the radical left. Both are unfortunately being enabled by our liberal elite Establishment.

It should go without saying, therefore, that I refuse to allow my enemies to control the way I speak.

Because if they control the way I speak, they will win. And I plan to win. Competitiveness and success being foreign concepts to many liberals, I don’t expect them to comprehend that.

A note, therefore, to my enemies…

You believe in the existence of a strange creature called “group rights.” I do not accept the existence of said animal.

It follows that you also accept the notion of “group libel.” Obviously, I reject that notion also.

I refuse to accept the faddish notion that only certain groups are allowed to use certain “offensive” words when describing themselves.

I refuse to adopt the fad of writing “not all Muslims” whenever I speak about Islam.

During WW2, we spoke of “the Germans” and “the Japanese”.

No “not all” to be seen.

It was understood by normal, sane, patriotic and intelligent ordinary people that not every single solitary German was a Nazi. Even before we learned the story of Oskar Schindler and other “righteous gentiles,” U.S. citizens spoke of “good Germans” whose existence they were certain of. There were indeed angry Americans who beat up their German neighbors.

Interestingly, there was no similar backlash against Muslims after 9/11.

We knew there were “good Japanese” too — at least on our shores. Despite real (as opposed to imaginary persecution), Japanese Americans volunteered to serve their adopted country and became the most decorated unit, not just during WW2, but in the entire history of the US armed forces.

(Alas, a similar parallel does not exist in our current conflict for some reason.)

It was common knowledge that, yes, the Germans had invented all kinds of wonderful things and created lovely music and so forth, in a (real) glorious past (as opposed to the sometimes imaginary glorious past frequently cited by Muslim apologists.)

Likewise the Japanese.

However, at that particular moment in time, the Japanese were mutilating American G.I.s and running slave brothels, while the Germans were embarked on a mission to wipe out Europes Jews and other “undesirables.”

In response, Dr. Suess and Chuck Jones made some nasty cartoons, as every college kid knows.

(Oh, and we actually killed our enemies back in those days, instead of interrogating them in Laz-E-Boy chairs and feeding them 3000 calorie a day halal meals.)

But as far as your average leftist/Muslim apologist/Canadian MP is concerned, those cartoons of Dr. Suess are worse than the Rape of Nanking. (Something few university students learn about, because, hey, those cartoons are so much cooler to bash.)

I reject the twisted notion, now taken for granted by the Establishment, that, say, publishing mean cartoons is a worse crime than using rude words to described those who murdered priests, nuns and their fellow Muslims in the name of those cartoons.

I reject the twisted notion that calling looters “looters” is “racist.”

That wondering aloud why millions of people no longer seem willing or able to fend for or better themselves is “racist.”

That making factual observations about the world around me, based on the evidence of my senses and my lived experience, is “racist.”

I believe it is my right to reject these twisted notions.

Sadly, many of those people running my country disagree.

If rejecting the language of appeasement during this conflict makes me a “racist, white supremacist whatever-the-word-is-this-week”, I will wear those appellations and others with pride.

“Racist” is the new “commie.”

I will continue to express my views, not only about belligerent, disloyal Muslims, but about everything that constitutes a threat to national security, be it the welfare state, radical ecology, the division of society into various arbitrary “victim” “communities, or official multiculturalism, “tolerance” and “diversity”.

(I also support the right to any other person, left or right, to post annoying, rude, ill-informed, provocative writing on their blog. That they don’t often extend me the same courtesy is unfortunate but I’m powerless to do much about that.)

This stance has, and will, cost me dearly. However, to do anything less would violate my conscience.

Those who dislike what they read at this blog are free to make their first visit here their last.

Let’s see how long I am free to keep writing it.

(Crossposted from FiveFeetOfFury, where Kathy Shaidle has been blogging for nine years. Her new book is The Tyranny of Nice: how Canada crushes freedom in the name of human rights — and why it matters to Americans.

Somewhere along the line, what HRO and the LEFT have to understand is that we may have lost the last battle, but we have not lost the war and we refuse to give up.  We still have our voice and we must use it. Being PC will not achieve anything, in fact, it is why we’re where we’re at today–we didn’t stop the pussyfooting around and allowed the LEFT to make “cowards” of us–they stopped our voice, but things are such that it is the time to shout back, NO, we won’t let you put words in our mouths and we are not done fighting for ourselves and our country as our Fore Fathers’ saw this country in their hearts.
